If you've got a pageant headshot photoshoot coming up, here are some easy steps to help you prep and look your absolute best:
Clean and Fresh: Before your photoshoot, make sure to come with a clean and fresh face. This will give us a flawless canvas to work with and ensure your headshots turn out stunning.
Hair Ready: Take care of your hair by washing it the day or night before the shoot. It's best to blow dry it as well. If your hair is 1-2 days old, that's perfectly fine. But remember, it shouldn't be longer than that. We can always add some products for texture, but if it's too oily, it might be tough to fix. So, keep it fresh and clean!
Taming Curls: If you have naturally curly hair but want a straight or curled look for your headshots using a regular-sized curling iron, follow these steps. Wash and blow dry your hair the day before your appointment. This will help break up the natural curl pattern, making it easier for us to create the desired style. Don't worry if it looks a bit frizzy after blow drying – just tie it up in a low ponytail or a loose bun with a scrunchy until you arrive at the shoot.
Embrace Your Curls: If you're proud of your natural curls and want to flaunt them in your headshots, that's amazing! We can enhance and define those curls to make them look absolutely fabulous. Just remember not to overload your hair with too many products before you come in.
